Branded shade is very important outdoors both for brand promotion and for protection from the elements, and pop-up tents and umbrellas are two of the items that are primarily used.

Flags of various types are used quite often as they are easy to set-up and take down and are the ideal place markers, showing information like mile # at races, or field # at sports field events.

Advertising inflatables are often used at sporting events. High school and college athletic programs use inflatable mascots and run-through tunnels. At Ironman triathlons and at other running races, they use pop-up canopy tents and coolers as shaded water stations, as well as inflatable arches at the start and / or finish lines. Inflatable spheres, filled with helium are used to float above events, or even used floating on water at advertising buoys, creating a unique landmark.
